Our chapter is excited to award up to $54,000 High Impact Grants in 2024 to benefit our community. Requirements include financial need, ability to achieve program goals, and community impact. Please complete this year's online applications form to be considered

2024 Grant Recipients

The Bloomington Alpha Chapter of Tri Kappa awarded over $54,000 in grant money in May 2024, ranging between $2,500-$8 ,000 per recipient. We were fortunate to award and recognize 13 different Bloomington-based organizations, focusing on supporting various projects, programs & initiatives.

2023 Grant Recipients

The Bloomington Alpha Chapter of Tri Kappa awarded over $54,000 in grants in May 2023, ranging between $1,500-$7,000 per recipient.

Following a full-year of fundraising in 2023 by the 111 club members, we were proud to award $55,000 in grants to agencies, programs, or organizations that support Tri Kappa’s emphasis on charity, culture and education.

2018 Grant Recipients

The Bloomington Alpha Chapter of Tri Kappa awarded $13,500 in grants and scholarships in May 2018, ranging between $700-$3,000 per recipient.

  • Arlington Heights Elementary School for STEM materials and a field trip to the LINK Observatory

  • Cardinal Stage Co. for 120 subsidized “Robin Hood” tickets for Monroe County School Corp. students

  • Girls Inc. of Monroe County for bus repairs and transportation costs

  • Monroe County United Ministries for the Child Care Development Fund

  • Teachers Warehouse for the High School Initiative. 

  • Three $1000 scholarships to local students
