A Night at the Derby

Join the Bloomington Alpha Chapter of Tri Kappa for a fun night of games and prizes!

  • Thursday, April 10th, 2025

  • Monroe Convention Center, 302 S College Ave, Bloomington IN 47401

  • Doors open at 5:00 PM - Come early to shop our vendors; participate in the Wine & Liquor Pulls; purchase raffle & 50/50 tickets; Queen of the Derby; sign up to play our NEW Run for the Roses horse game; eat; drink and be merry!

  • BLINGO starts promptly at 6:30 PM

  • Dress Code- We’re off to the horse races! Think big hats, fascinators, floral dresses, cute heels, whatever puts you in the mood for a day at the track!

  • Funds raised benefit local Scholarships and High Impact Grants

  • Tickets are $400 for a reserved table of 8, or $40 for single, general admission. Your ticket guarantees a seat at the event, one game card for all 10 games, and a dauber.

About the Prizes

Designer Purse Bingo

Ten fabulous designer purses are up for grabs! All attendees get one Bingo card per game. Purse retail value ranges from $300-$2,000.
Additional cards will be available at Blingo for $10 each - cash only.

Gift Basket Raffle

Take a chance at winning one of the 18 beautifully themed gift baskets and designer handbags donated by the Women of the Tri Kappa Alpha Chapter. Purchase tickets and select which baskets/purses you would like to win. Must be present to win. 
Tickets are 1 for $5.00 or 5 for $20.00 - cash only.

“In the Money” 50/50 Cash Raffle

Take a chance at coming home with some extra spending money. One lucky winner will receive one-half of the proceeds from 50/50 raffle ticket sales, and the other half will be designated to the Tri Kappa Philanthropy Fund. Must be present to win.

Wine and Liquor Pull

Everyone’s a winner in our Wine and Liquor Pull! CASH ONLY.

WINE PULL: Bottles of wine have a retail value of at least $20 (and in many cases much more). Each chance is $25. For an additional $10, you will be entered for a chance to win a Dooney and Bourke Penrose 2 Saddle purse, a bottle of 2017 Far Niente Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon and two Riedel wine glasses! Total value: $650.

LIQUOR PULL: Liquor options have a retail value of at least $20. Each chance is $25. For an additional $10, you will be entered for a chance to win a bottle of exclusive Blanton’s Gold Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey plus a cocktail pairing and dinner for two people at C3! Total value: $550.

Who doesn’t like playing cards? Especially when the winner gets a Gold Casters Shopping Spree! Simply buy a card and keep half, the other half goes in a basket! A winning “half” will be drawn…will it be yours? 4 different decks of cards…208 chances to win!

As if that weren’t exciting enough, we plan to have a 2nd, 3rd & 4th place winner as well! These runner ups will win jewelry from Gold Casters! Cards are $25 per chance!
